INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons organic butter
  • 4 tablespoons organic gluten-free flour
  • 1 1/2 cups organic milk
  • 1 cup organic sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups cooked organic_long_grain_white_rice

INSTRUCTIONS

Grease an 8-inch square pan; set aside. Preheat oven to 350°F. 

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and stir until a roux forms. Turn heat down to low. Whisk in milk and cook until mixture thickens. Stir in cheese and spices; stir until melted. 

Turn off heat, stir in rice. 

Pour into greased pan. Bake 20 minutes or until bubbly.
