Breakfast Rice Scramble

Whip up this savory scramble for a protein-filled breakfast.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (6.4 ounce) box fully cooked breakfast sausage
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cups cooked Florida's Table™ Long Grain White Rice or long_grain_brown_rice
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons scallions, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Crumble sausage links into skillet and heat through. Drain sausage.

Scramble eggs in a bowl. Add butter to heated skillet and cook eggs until done. Remove skillet from heat, toss in sausage, rice, cheese and scallions. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
